1967 dart

Greenwood... is that the shop with all the wrecks outside? I hear they do some decent work.

ya ... they buy a lot of wrecked cars out of the states and fix them up and sell them here in Canada.

seems to always have something coming and going there

Its nice because i work a few doors down. *shrugs*

So i have been over to check on the Dart a few times and i keep forgetting my camera.

However he has the Dart straight as an arrow and looking amazing ... almost like a different car.

So i decided to tinker on the six pack carbs. Ran into a few issues so i had to change the float bowls on all three carbs :( The sight plugs are a bit higher but i am hoping i can set them right when i go to use them. I cleaned polished and made them look alot nicer. Straightened out all the linkage and cleaned up the manifold and painted as well.

Now i just hope they work as intended when i install them .... *crosses fingers and toes*

So friday i was aat work when i recieved a phone call from the body shop.i was suprised to get a call from them at work. I was told to swing by on my way home (6 doors down from where i work) because they were spraying paint. The door/trunk window frames were all painted up. Also the engine bay was painted so now i get to bring dartie home and start assembly of everything but trim. After i have everything together i will bring dartie back in to have the exterior painted and put the final touches on. If things go good for the year i hope to debut dartie at her first car show in my home town in june 2013 *crosses all appendages*pictures will be taken when i get her home on tuesday

Lookin' forward to seeing how it looks. I considered buying that car back in the Oregon days, but the wife got in the way.:(

we dragged that home with the corrola wagon too!

put a sticky note on your forhead ..make damned sure they wrap EVERYTHING so they dont hose all your pretty new parts with overspray...to be honest i wouldnt put anything on the car that doesnt HAVE to go on it

I'm only a mile and a half from Tyrannosaurus Ex, but amazingly we don't run into each other that often. Thank God.

so today was a busy hectic day but i got everything accomplished including legal b.s...

After court i headed over to the body shop to pick up dartie ... dragged her home ... took a few pictures before i forgot and rolled her into the old shop till i get her further along and sealed all up.
