Let's tear down!!!

My old Galaxy S1 will survive the whole day no matter how much I use it.

You just happen to own an HTC phone, you probably already know how great they aren't.
I'm pretty indifferent with mine actually. I only use it for slightly more than pretty basic stuff. Battery life sucks though.

Dragging this out of the moth balls, and bring it back to it's relevant point :D

Just bought a '99 Durango 9.25" rear, drum to drum, with a 3.92 ratio and a limited slip for $54!:giggedy: Now I just have to order my relocation kit, and a pair of 5 lug axles and that's done, will need to round up another spare til the axles get ordered. :hmmm: My alternator brackets/bolts came in, so I'll be doing further mock up, and taking my ND alt to AZ to have it bench tested. Once I get the garage cleared out, again, I'll get the Charger back inside to resume work on her.

I ordered a Mopar 3" spring relocation, got a really good deal on one. Does anyone have a video or bunch of pics showing the install?

I have an old article detailing it, but it's in the computer that not only has a burnt power supply, but can't get online anyhow since my router nose-dove into the abyss. Do you have my number? The back's easy; it's the front that gets tricky because you have to cut the frame. If you don't have six available jackstands and an FSM, I wouldn't actually attempt it.

doc..get me the specs of what you need for a damn power supply..and ill dig thru my spares and send you out a working one...i need a pin count and cable type and wattage....ive got piles of them and my discount on mailing makes it cheep to send......youve got toooooo much info burried on that machine thats been needed since it died...if nothing else we need to get it working so you can get everything off of it

Somewhere, I have to get another replacement phone. They keep sending me defective refurbs. Time to move to an iPhone I guess.

I have had them for a couple years, constant crashes. I need something more reliable. I've gone through no less than 10 phones in the last year and a half, including a few of the Casio that's supposed to be water, dust and vibration resistant, the Motorola Droid, Motorola Proton is what I currently have. I must say Motorola's quality has dropped significantly. My dad on the other hand is now on his 3rd iPhone, since the 3 came out, from upgrades not faulty equipment. My mom took over his 4 when he got his 4s and his 3 is still functioning.

What can I use to clean/flush the gas tank? No scale or heavy rust of any kind in it, minor surface at most, but it seems to be residue from bad/really old gas. Luckily for me the donor car sat inside most of the time, but it had half a tank of varnish during storage.

When I bought my Beetle the tank was really gummed up. I wanted to steam it out but no one around here did it anymore so I used Muriatic acid - carefully - and got it pretty clean. I was amazed at the shit that poured out with that first rinse of Muriatic...and I still ended up going through an easy dozen fuel filters the first year. I should have just bought a new tank.

I always run two filters. One cheap clear plastic one before the fuel pump, and another good one after. With the cheap clear one you can see the garbage it's picking up, and change when things start to look nasty.

Sucks that the tank has a hole. Maybe you can just get that one hole brazed up?

Nah, it's about the size of a nickel. I didn't notice the crunchy rust at first, but when I started messing with it my finger pushed right through.

I found a new one on eBay for $155 shipped, and a 3/8 pickup for $44. With the grommet and new straps I'll be into it for about $250. Had other stuff that needs to be addressed, but without a gas tank the rest is worthless.

cant you just go with an aftermarket tank for less?..or are you trying to stay mostly stock?

i dont know how many tanks ive seen that were perfect only to find a hole in the top..its annoying.....worse is the wreckers out here now punch holes in the tanks to drain em....

It's reasonably priced. It's just a lack of expendable funds right now. Hopefully I can move a couple parts I have lying around.

Got my 11.75" front rotors installed, used the DrDiff bearing adapters here, http://www.ebay.com/itm/171042950691?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Seemed to work pretty well, guess I'll find out more when I can finally drive it. tried to bleed the brakes, but the master is rusted up. So I ordered the adapter so I can use the newer style aluminum type. I replaced the hoses while I was at it, now I just need to replace the rear brakes including the wheel cylinders, and flush the lines.

Got a line on a '68 C body rear hopefully he and I can work out a trade. :helpme:

I also noticed, while looking under the rear of the car, the leaf springs are bent. So another thing that must be replaced before I can drive it... :(
