Picked up a new toy...

From what I remember of the power window system on my 68 Coronet...all the window switches need to be hooked up or none will work. Now if one fails I can't recall if the whole system fails?

For the TTI exhaust you will need some HP C-body manifolds.

If they are all hooked up then I should be OK, thats how the later stuff works. I saw a couple broken wires on the drivers harness, guess that's the starting point.

A buddy of mine from work, his dad has 2 of these wagons. Not in the greatest of shape though. Been sittin in heavy moisture, under briar brush for the last 15 years or so. We get to go pull them out sometime next week, along with a few other bastards. Not going to be fun! :doubt:

Here's the only one we can actually get to. The other one is buried under a massive pile of thorns on the pass side of this one.

They would, and they're probably in way better shape than mine not being exposed to direct sunlight. I wish I could get there and drag one home. I need the right inner tail light lense too :toot:

Honestly, I'd put that car on forcbodiesonly.com instead of scrapping it, those guys love the long roofs. TC is over there too.

the green one stays..countys on his ass and he kept the info to himself..weve got 15 days before teh county does what they want....

the green one is "family" so it will get hid...hopefully.....the blue one under the brush goes away..along with a 4dr and a deer 4spd car and some trucks

I believe your right on those super coupe wheels! Can you grab any of the rear plastic panels form the blue one?

I didn't think there was much interchangeable up top.

Couple things I'm thinking about, 255/60R15's on all 4 corners on my M body 15X7's. I'm going to toss the fender skirts on the shelf in the garage, not a fan of the hidden rear tire look. Do I just need to locate the wheel lip trim to finish it off?

Damn, can't think of the other thing I was contemplating...

Working on the yacht today, found another rust hole when I pulled the driver's skirt off. No big deal, I'll take care of that when I do the other side.

However I did find, when I pulled 4 layers of floor mat off the drivers floor, a crunchy floor with a hole... I'm going to yank the driver's seat tomorrow and pull the carpet to see how far it goes. Knew it was too good to be true! :D The rest are solid! :2thumbs:

I also found my electrical gremlins, seems the entire harness running into the drivers door is either broken or bare. I'll address that tomorrow as well.

The brakes on the other hand look to be in good shape. I'm going to replace the weather checked front hoses and flush the system. :2thumbs:

Ahh these wagons just don't look right without the factory shirts. IMO And since they are skirted from the factory there is no trim for that open wheel well.
