It is a 318 air car built in L.A. It is rough as you can see with rot at the back window from being a vinyl top car, roof caved in from kids jumping on it, no trunk pans, no front suspension, passenger door is missing but I have another one off his wrecked orange car to replace it. He is getting cited for excessive junk and cars and is about to lose them all. This car will most likely be crushed if not saved by tomorrow or the next day. It is an original plum crazy car also. So what do you guys think would be a reasonable price for it? Yes the big shackles come with it lol

So I wont do bad to get it for 300? The big problem is getting it on a trailer, I can store it at my dads place no prob, its just finding a trailer and the loading a non rolling car on it  O it does have tons of parts inside of it like multiple windshield surround stainless pieces, 3 speed wipers, etc.

Parts car. Lots of saleable parts, POtentially Frame rails quarters etc. There is money to be made

I just got home from work and there is a big fork lift there. I have to get in touch with my father in law and borrow his trailer. My dad told me I could put it at his place. It is funny that I am contemplating buying cars from a guy that me and my brother in law used to give cars to. Between us we have given the guy a 68 Imperial, 68 Polara, 71 challenger and 2 'Cudas, a 70 and a 72. Those were 'Cudas too, not Barracudas  I am going to try my best to save this car and after that I dont really have a plan for it yet. It is between a big project and a parts car imo.

Er, with "no floors", I'd say there's a strong chance the frame rails are history.
That one belongs in a Toyota, sorry to say.

I bought a running, driving 318 3 speed '70 Barracuda a couple years ago, from Blown71X, that had fairly decent front floors, but the trunk floors, frame rails and rear floors were toast, not to mention 1/4s and rockers.
I'd gone to the extent of getting rear frame rails and a few parts for it, then went to jack it up to support it and the jack went through the framerail.
It was sold off to a buddy of mine and parted out within a week, crushed within 2.
There's a '69 Swinger 340 4 speed body here that likely will meet the same fate, of course, someone can 'save' it for a few hundred bucks, but I promise, it's a basket case. Granted, one with a VIN, fender tag and title, but a basket case nonetheless.

Mark.

the reason it has no trunk pans is because they were cut out to put in another car. the only real rust issue I can see on it is the usual spots on a vinyl top car, around the back glass is the worst. other than that it just seems like surface scale to me.

Update: I bought the car for 300 today. I got the orange door he owed me and put it on the passenger side. He tossed in a set of tail lights that it is lacking, an extra front valance and a grille. I got around to lifting the hood and it seems to be a pretty damn solid car, the cowl and inners are in super shape with no rot whatsoever. If I can get a clean title then it looks like this car might make it back on the road in a few years. The guy who is buying all his cars for scrap agreed to deliver the challenger to my dads house six miles away for the princely sum of 20 dollars, cant go wrong with a deal like that! :)

Along with filling out the bill of sale I filled out title duplicate papers. If that does not work I can pay another 100 dollars and get the car bonded and a new title issued so I will have a title on it one way or another. Sorry XL, as soon as my daughter heard it was a plum crazy car she claimed it. I was smart enough though not to promise it this time ( I promised my blue challenger to my son when he was 5 and recently had to buy back ownership for a few x box and ps2 games :) ) Honestly though it would be a mothertrucker to restore or restify. It would make a nice drag car though :hmmm:

Congrats! Wish I had the room and time for one of those! I can't think of a better way to learn than resto-modding something cool like that.
