what is it worth?

Congrats! Wish I had the room and time for one of those! I can't think of a better way to learn than resto-modding something cool like that.

LOL the sad thing is I dont have the time, the space or the money to do this car. Things could change but any progress will be pretty slow. :(

Must be something about my demeanor?
I ended up scrapping a '70 340 4 speed P.C. car a couple years back.
It was a basic roller with a k-member, but needed fenders, 1/4s and a little trunk floor work.
I think I was asking $800 for the whole deal, got no serious takers, so I parted it down and sent it to the masher.
I guess it's not WHAT you have, but WHO has it.

I give them their last chance, then it's coitains, I say!
For alot of cars, I have been the end of the road.

I would love to stumble onto a 4 speed E-body, hell even a 3 speed would get me most of the way there. Must be the land of automatics around here because 4 speed cars were always the exception, never the rule. :(
The good thing about this car is I could not lose. I got my money's worth in just a few items like 3 speed wipers and tinted glass.

It all depends on what you want to do with it.

[WHINE]Me, I can't afford to sit on them forever.
Parts/car selling isn't a hobby for me, it's sell or go bust. Lately it's been dismal and it don't look to be getting any better anytime too soon.[/WHINE]

Doing transports works out okay for me, a lot of the time, but 1 breakdown pretty much does in anything I may be ahead.

FWIW, my 2 cents, if you can @ least double what you paid and not have to transport it, you're far better off, but that's not me talking as a "Hobbyist", rather as a "flipper".

Enjoy it if you can afford it.

Mark.
