Satty's got cancer...

Dang, you could do that with the metal in my scrap bucket! [smilie=e:
How wide is the piece to fill, bout 1 1/2 inches? is there a drop off too, (like an L shape?) Rich.

It is actually going to be a Z shape with each flat being 3/4" the biggest problem is it will be 4 feet of this channel, and the corners might be a bit tricky to fabricate... [smilie=e: but I have plenty of time to get it right ( or at least presentable).

actually, i think it can be done in 2 pieces (weld will fill the seam nicely)

Might be hard to bend the center anyway, looks like a change of direction, good place for the seam! I have some scraps we can play with, see if we can come close on the break to the z, love a challenge! [smilie=e:
Well I useta! [smilie=e:

Got a little free time recently, and got to workin on the car. The pics tell the story, but there is still a lot of work to do....

Looking much better. Some spray undercoating underneath will keep it from coming back. Or better yet, por-15 possibly.

Still got another hole in the corner of the trunk channel too. Once that is all fixed up and I get it to where I like it, I'll por-15 the entire trunk area. Gonna go get some better pics now (camera phone really sux).

I'm not too worried about bare metal, it is stored inside, and the Duster has not started to show any signs of trouble yet......

As long as you can keep the humidity down, it will be OK for a while.

My garage (which also houses our daily driver) fosters flash rust almost immediately. My Dad just gave me a dehumidifier which I am going to run this winter.

sir i have a rust free 4 door coronet that iam going to cut to pieces yep really nice floors and front clip trunk pan is excellent if this section helps you out ill section it just for you and u pay shipping

Really? I wouldn't have guessed.:D

I noticed something with my phone camera when I used it for the pics last time I was in PA. If you have flourescent lights above, it will come out with lines going across the pic horizontally. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the phase (60hz) that those lights operate at.

Either that or I just can't take pics worth a damn...:bwuhaha:

BTW: Let me know if you want to get some more fiberglass practice in. I still have to attach the headlight buckets to the fenders for the Chally.
