Can anyone ID this Transmission???

It's not the "PP" stamping itself... it's just that the PP stamping means it was a factory-installed transmission (not an aftermarket Direct Connection aluminum case). The only factory 4-speeds with aluminum cases were overdrive units. :)

If you measure the front bearing retainer, I'm sure you'll find that it's 5.125" outer diameter, another dead giveaway to an OD trans.
 
I'll check that tomorrow. Thanks for all the info, I had no idea how to ID this thing.
