pricey ..but god id run that in an a body!!!!

i wonder if the block was modeed for the heads or the heads made for the block

didnt someone else offer a similar setup back in the early 80s/90s

For roughly the same coins you can get a 426 crate Hemi......more cubits...more ooomph.

I would think in an A body the additional weight on the nose of the car might negate a lot of those gains. Not to mention the hacking and work involved to make a 426 hemi fit.

Exhaust clearance aside, this looks like it might just drop in and not weigh much more than a stock iron-head LA.....

EXACTLY..coin aside...in an A that would be the GOTO engine to run...i imagine youd still pay hell with the exhaust to some extent..thats a given..but for a street machine that you want to race as well..this would be just right...i wonder if its lighter or the same wight as a stock LA

To me the bottom line would be, what is the hp gain to $$ ratio. :hmmm:

Absolutely not worth the money. A factory 360 block with natural aspiration will disassemble itself at around 600HP (if you get a really good casting) so we already know this is a very expensive sub-600HP engine. Add to that the dependence on them for replacement parts, and $11,000 starts to seem rather obscene. You really have to want to be unique to see the value in this engine.
