FCA is recalling a small number of 2005 Dodge Dakota pickups, because their optional heated seats can develop dangerous hot spots. The fix is to swap in a new heating control, for free.
The recall (Chrysler #T80, NHTSA #17V-820) starts on February 8, 2018. Just 16,900 Dakotas were built with the problem parts.
