The paint fumes have cleared so I'm
What do I know about this car?
The fellow you bought it from - Chris - bought it three years ago from the second owner. You don't want to know what he paid.
John, the second owner, picked it up around 69 or 70, and I think he is the one who had it painted black. And had all that lovely striping done.
He drove it for about four years, and actually used it in his wedding party. 'Member the confetti?
Why he parked it, I don't know.
Chris said that right after John had it painted, an old lady drove her car into the side (thought he said right rear) before it had even left the body shop.
It has been in inside storage since 74 ( I would hate to think how much money he spent on thirty years of storage fees) here in Sarnia.
I doubt very much if the car had ever been abused, other than the paint job.
John's sister is a very good customer of mine, I'll try to get some more info from her this week. I do know that she and her sister had both offered over the years to buy the Charger, but it was not for sale. You know the line - "Gonna fix it some day".
