just picked up a 89 turbo caravan for 100$ drove it home even..trans has R shot and theres some body issues..anyway its got the most bizare options for a turbo or atleast all the others i have seen have NOT been like this...anyone who can lead me to a site to decode it or someone feal like doing it?

to dark to snap pic's tonight..can snap some in the mornin if theres intrest but she aint purty..........lloyd 2.5 turbo is now a reality..or atleast ive got the majority of the parts to do it

yeah fishy its going to get butched...as for storage well its here isnt it lol(remember i cut up the parts 58 into useable chunks and the lincoln is cut as well ..going to cut the white 67 fish here soon)

options im still scratching my head on
power windows and door locks(an upgrade ive been meaning to do to my minivan for a long time 65$ at a local wrecker)
manual at the window rear windows(most SE vans have either power or the dial openers in the roof for the rear windows)
AC
lower console delete
strip down gauge cluster(ALL turbo's ive seen have had a tach and full guages)
spare tire BAR(not the cool little crank down setup)
roof rack delete
the 1 year only deluxe front seats(these are hard to explaine but ive only seen a few mini's with these seats)
2 core HD rad (tow package without the tow package)
delux sterio(one step down from the bose)
over head console delete
no tilt(first mini ive seen without tilt wheel)
no cruise but intermiten wipers(mind you this is on the same knob as cruis in all vans)

and im shure theres more i havnt noticed yet..im going to tune it and bump the boost up and tweek with it befor i remove it..i realy question the mileage on it since ive never seen a strip down guage set with a turbo..says 250k but feals like less than 100k..it smoked for a sec when it was started but said it hadnt been started in a month or more..i started it here this moring to check it and it didnt smoke

other than the carpet is FUBAR and the body damage thats been bondoed on the drivers side and the fact that the owner told me that the rear passenger side wheel bearing seezed to the exle end(wich blew the wheel cyl 2 miles from home) and R being gone its not a bad van over all the gut is great ..i should be able to part it out somewhat..that is the stuff i dont keep for my mini or the lloyd...
seems to have a minor oil and water leak..going to P-wash it and see how it looks....has new belts/hoses as well as a bunch of other new parts as well as a HD alt....i just need to find a cheep 5spd now lol

Might as well mention it before dad does...

We've had a K-car 5speed sittin on our driveway for the past year and a half that we cant even give away...

Be careful on the compatability guys, 87 is a change over year on mutsu trannies and crankshafts.:hmmm:
 
well considering it wont be going into the van ..and axles dont realy matter to me i dont think there is any compatability issues that i would need to worry about..since the bellhouse boltings are the same(unless its off a v6)
 
Judging by the fact that an ol' fart like me can carry one a short distance, I would put it around 100 lbs. :hmmm:
