Each year, cars.com makes a list of the “most American” vehicles. This year, the companystopped focusing so much on total sales, and looked more at content, assembly points, and the number of American jobs affected.
The changes had a huge impact on the listings. In the 2016 American-Made Index (AMI), when sales played a larger role, the top spots went to the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
