I guess I should start by saying that I'm still alive and kicking. I'm about to get back into an honest to God muscle era Mopar again so it seemed like a good time to see if the lights were still on over here in the nuthouse. In the mean time, I figured I'd post here first to say to any new faces that don't know me.
Oh yeah, the car I'm picking up is a '69 Barracuda fastback that was used for a race car. I'm going to build it up similar to the R/T/A project in the build section of the forum, Biggest difference is I'll be using a 400 block stroked to 500ci and an 8HP70 in place of the 727TF. The body is going to need a lot of work, but at this point, there aren't many projects left that don't. The house I'm living at now has a 1.5 car garage for me to work in, so no more laying in the gravel or grass to work on it.
Anyway. I'm glad to be back. Feels like slipping back into a comfortable pair of old sneakers.
