I did something today I never thought I'd do, besides get married... twice before I'm done :shifty:

I went down and signed up for college [smilie=2: Community college, if all works out I'll end up with an Associates of Applied Science in, wait for it,

WELDING :D

No seriously, an A.A.S. in Welding Technology

I took the night school starter class at college.
Pretty much a safety lecture, lots of tips and tricks, and go practice.
It was great.

I can take the next level class which includes TIG.
I might do that now because they just built a whole new tech building with new welding labs..

Cool...Good for you!!

I know I have been looking at taking a proper welding class too. Not looking to get certified...just a little more knowledge then what I've learned in the backyard.

Excellent! One cannot learn enough about welding. On a side note, what the fuck does whelp mean? I've seen it used in titles on several Mopar sites, and I'm still puzzled. I am in no way trying to be a dick, I just don't understand the term.

It has to do with how some people say "Well", quickly and with a perceived "P" on the end.

Technically, a whelp is a mammalian carnivore that has not yet been weaned and is still dependent on a parent for feeding. It's most-often used in reference to puppies.

I worked with a guy that pronounced it "waayelp" :D He was an older guy from West Texas.

Thanks for clarifying that for me Doc :2thumbs:
