You can probably get more for scrap than you can selling those parts since Chevy stuff is so cheap. That's a neat ride though.

I'll never understand why people put generic drivetrains in thier rods. As common as crap in 68's diaper.

Cuz they have no imagination...or sense of decency. That's why I no longer go to the street rod/hot rod shows...only so many SBC's you can look at without pukin:sick: or wantin to beat the hell out of the owner:mad: . This is the reason I despise everything GM:jagoff: .

Same here, The last decent rod i saw was a 38 plymouth with a long ram installed, half the people looking at it thought it was some custom job.:doubt:

I have a pal who has a 318 in his 29 Dodge sedan, and some guy walked up and wanted to know where he got the cool exhaust manifolds for his 350. Street rod guys have had 350/350 rammed up their asses for so long, they don't know any better.:shifty:

Bet you'd sell the Chevy "Crap" long before you'd sell comparably priced 340 or 360 Mopar stuff.
More demand, MUCH more.

Mark.

Simple...

It's called working within a budget.

Whether we care to admit it or not, the chevvy guys can build a decent car for far less money than those of us in the Mopar or Blue oval camps. (Although 5 litre mustang stuff seems pretty affordable these days...)

350 cores are readily available for pennies at just about any wrecking yard and have you compared the cost of parts? Look at what a Performer RPM intake costs for a bowtie as compared to a LA Mopar.

It's simple economics - small block chevvys outsold small block mopars 10 to one, so they are simpler, cheaper and and more readily available.

What's a "2.02" head? I assume he means the heads have 2.02" intake valves installed. If that's the case, those heads could be anything from the lowest compression wheezy smog heads from '76 with 2.02's installed to some of the best flowing aftermarket 23 degree heads available. My bet is on the former. Describing heads that way is akin to telling someone the kind of car you have is the kind with 215/65/15 tires on it. Dee Dee Dee!!!!

If you have 340 or 360 Mopar stuff, I will give you Chevy prices.:shifty: Isnt that like trading US dollars to Canadian dollars for face value?:bwuhaha: :bwuhaha:
