LOL could not have said iit better I have a 89 dip now talk about a slug off the line. I think it has 2.54 or ? found a 8.25 with lower gears but I do not know if I will keep this after the divorce so I drive it.
This year in my jeep i changed from 3.73 to 4.10 because I was runing 32" tires wow did it wake up the jeep. I only have about 200 miles sence the changout today had to cruse at 80 from denver so in my case top speed not changed as there in no way I am ever going over 80 in a 68 cj5, with stock brakes. I was cought in a storm with the top off or I would not have hit 80 LOL
