What to use this for in the shop?

Drowning deep in my sea of loathing...so I'm
Scavenged an old gun safe, it's about 10" deep, 21" wide by 56" tall, nice heavy duty metal but I can't think of what to use it for....add more shelves for storage, or cut it down and make it into something more useful?

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

This may not work for you, since I'm not familiar with your equipment but I'd put a rod or dowel across the top. I'd move that shelf down and add a couple of more. I'd use the rod to hang my spray guns and the shelves to store spray-gun related stuff: Their cups, paint, thinner, cleaner and cleaning tools, mix cups, etc.

You could also drill some air holes and install an inside latch release, making it suitable storage for your shop midget. Everyone should have a shop midget, really.

Well I prefer the Shop Monkey to be honest, but they tend to not be as hygenic as the more popular shop midget....;)

Thanks Doc...the paint guns and related hardware and chemicals is a good idea. Someone also suggested for storing spare oil, tranny fluid, grease and grease guns etc. Just some absorbent pads in the bottom to soak up anything that might run or drip.

Think I have a direction now...much appreciated!
