As I recall, this car was built for SEMA. I remember when it was being built and thinking, "Wow, that's really stupid." They did a lot of work and spent a ton of money--the Buy it Now is a money-loser--to purposely create a piece of crap. Crap--not scrap. Almost nothing on the car came from a junkyard--much of what you see is brand new, just intentionally aged--and the car they destroyed wasn't really that bad. Its condition was subjective; I live in Salt Central. The rust, half-assed body work, lightened floor pans--all that was intentionally created. To me, that's unfortunate. Had they put that effort into making a nice car, this could've been
really cool. I like the widened fenders and "box flare" quarters, the rear window concept, the stance and the "race car for the street" aspect.
It could stand another inch or two of ride height for the sole purpose of getting a hood over that awful air cleaner, and the donk wheels are some of the worst I've ever seen. Wide 5 wheels are never pretty but those are exceptionally bad. It looks like an RC car. Then there's the stupid name they just couldn't stop themselves from painting on the car.
At the stated price, this car's a money-loser for both parties involved. ReTredwear spent more than that, and the buyer can't really drive it. Good luck getting repair parts for that engine. Plus, it has zero investment potential since its only provenance is that yes, it's a Dodge Charger. It's less valuable than the average 15-year-old used local circle burner, with which you could at least go racing. Most local tracks ain't letting that engine run, never mind whether the car actually is actually within the rules.
It's
still better than every General Lee ever built, though.
