So 85 is too much?

Seriously, I dunno what it'd be worth. I'd look at one for a bar decoration, if it were cheap enough.
 
I've seen them go for $40 to $50 in good shape, but somebody musta told him they were going for money, or maybe it's because it's E body Mopar... "1972? Unsure if it's forsure a 72. Plymouth Cuda Steering Wheel Mint Not a Mark On It. Perfect Condition! This is a hard item to find in this condition!" :wtf: or he's a Chity guy that found something worth more than the rest of his collection. (BTW I found a Tuff Wheel for $50 in ok shape)
 
For half that price, he'll have it for a long, long time. That was the first thing I changed on my '73 Challenger... it's ugly--the spokes look like a dime-store butterfly knife--and has both a thin rim and huge diameter. The grip is heavy-grain E-body door-panel material. It's like holding on to a 60-grit eel: slimy and yet rough.

I tried to auction one for $25 once, and when I couldn't get it, I pulled the horn switch (which went for $35) and the horn button (for which I got around $25).

I love that steering wheel and always have. My brother in law gave me one back when I had my 70 'Cuda and it now is in my car while the stocker 3 spoke hangs on the garage wall.

Laugh now, but it's at $100 as I type this. May be a shill bid, but honestly, I wouldn't have known that they are undesireable, and might have actually bid something on one if I thought it would be hard to find.
