Wanted Dodge 340 engine

I am looking for a 340 engine if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Well, it would help to know a few things: location, price range, ability to pick up said engine, etc. Engines are very expensive to ship, and 340s are rather pricey in the first place. If you're looking to find a complete engine, expect to pay about triple what you would for a 360 in equivalent condition, if not more.

but location is the answer to it all.

360's are readily available and if you blow one up there are a couple more to replace engine.
