Back in 2005, Klaus Busse came to the United States for a two-year stint under DaimlerChrysler to work on the interiors of Ram trucks. He said he liked working with Chrysler Group so much, he stayed behind when Daimler left, and ended upin charge of interior design for the whole group. He transformed not just Rams, butevery car currently sold by the company.
Now, Mr. Bussewill be moving off to Europe, taking charge of design for Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat. The news came from his own announcement on Twitter,picked up by theDetroit Free Press and thenAutomotive News.
His place will be taken by Christopher Benjamin, who had been hired away from Volvo, and who was responsible for the interior of the 2015 Chrysler 300. (...) →
