UAW members have rejected the contract negotiated by their leaders withFCA US, LLC, the former Chrysler Corporation. The vote was not even close, with 65% voting against it.
UAW president Dennis Williams saidhe respected thevote, and that it was part of the process; the next step will be for the FCA committee and council to discuss the issues raised by members. FCA’s official announcementwas less restrained.
