The fire chief said they arrived at the scene 52 seconds after being alerted and about 3/4 of the people were out of the plane....

They must have lined up at the doors somewhere over Labrador... [smilie=r:
 
The ol 17 was flown out of Burlington Vermont. The wings for freedom tour by the Collings Foundation.
 
Considering that these old war birds are assembled from crash site remains and remanned stuff from Boeing itself its a tribute to the original scared kids that flew them in the 40s and the dedication to detail by the wrenches on them today. I wish I had gone up but Im just relaying info from another site. [smilie=e:
