The Jeep Wrangler is one of the prototypical American vehicles —except, perhaps, for the four-cylinder turbo engine, which is sourced from Termoli, Italy.
The Jeep Cherokee may have started out with a set of basic dimensions from Alfa Romeo, but its four-cylinder turbo engine is made in FCA’s Trenton, Michigan plant.
Reviews of the four-cylinder have been quite positive, praising its responsiveness and smooth function.
