That thing got a Hemi in it?

It's not a true Hemi. This 302 was fitted with modified staggered valve big block heads. It's nothing more than a down-sized version of the standard "porcupine" bbc. :dgt:
 
First rule of engineering: If it looks like a good design, it probably is.

One simply has to look at the horrible port configuration to know these weren't gonna work. I'm surprised the engineers didn't see that when the heads were still drawings. It's like they tried to copy the Ford Boss heads, concentrating on exacerbating the negatives of that design. :doh:
