With all the talk of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler on the way, it’s easy to think that the “old” one is unchanged from prior years. As we found by comparing a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with past versions, Jeep is indeed working on sanding off the iconic SUV’s rough edges and making incremental improvements as everyone waits to see what’s coming next.
The Saharaincreases the Wrangler’s creature comforts, while the Rubicon boosts capability at the cost of ride and hard-road ease-of-use. It still has the heavy duty body and suspension of a “real Jeep,”part-time four wheel drive, and a removable roof and doors.
