Swapped converters for the first time, hasnt blown up yet! lol

Got rid of my no-name '3000stall' converter that really only got me 2,500 if i was lucky. a 9 1/2" dynamic that flashes at about 3,800 or so replaced it ($650 ). Went for the first test drive and it goes RIGHT up into rpms. 1st gear is going to be pretty useless on my radials :doh: . First time swapping the damn thing, did it solo which was interesting [smilie=f:

Hopefully track times next month! 13s at 5,000ft here i come :xl:

yep, still my daily. but it does pretty much stop slipping at about 2,800rpm or so according to dynamic. so it wont be slipping everywhere i go. but when i mash it it will open up. I do have one big trans cooler and a plate type in my inner fender with a fan strapped to it anyway.
