Dodgeis recalling 2,211 cars 6.2 Hemi-equipped globally to replace gasolinehose sealsthat may leak, after a tip from a dealer who found a fuel leak on a car that had not yet been delivered to a customer.
The componentshad passed the supplier’s leak testing, but were caught by the dealer before delivery. Engineers decided that some seals may have been installed incorrectly.
There have been no injuries, accidents, or complaints, as far as Dodge can tell, but all supercharged 6.2 liter Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger “Hellcats” are recalled — providing the firstidea of how many supercharged, 707-horsepower Dodges have been made so far:
