stupid hood decisions!

In my opinion, unless it's on a full on drag car, the Super Stock scoops always looked way too big on an A body anything.

Yup! Cut it down to scale and massage a few lines and it would look bad ass on my fish! [smilie=i:[/QUOTE]
Except you can't scale it down, of course. You can cut it down, but you can't scale the scoops.

Admittedly, it would look better on an early Barracuda.

can too scale the scoops....slice here file there graft glue mold and repop in corected size......i dont see the problem

All those curves are going to be a real bitch, and good luck making the sheetmetal work around 'em.

stumbled on this tonight.
It does not help me at all but thought it was something for others to look at ...

That's a guy on ABodyJoe.com. I followed that build for a bit on there. If I remember correctly, that car was built for his daughter. Easier lines on that hood to work into an A body for sure but, I still think a Challenger hood would be awesome.

I saw a Demon with a Challenger hood, and with the smoother lines it looks good. I like the Baccaruda with the 'Cuda hood, that fits.

I dont like it. Sorry but I think it makes the hood look cluttered. The scoops are to long for the hood in my opinion. I do, however, love the color!

You've got a point, Stretch... they are right up against the back of it, but it sure looks better than trying to adapt a Challenger scoop!

I like the style of the scoops, and the color just "pops", but there's just something about all the body lines & all.
I can't put my finger exactly on it, but something looks "wrong".

"scale"..they need to be scaled down by about 1/4 overall..then they would look RIGHT on there...they are a good inch or so too wide 2 inches to long up front 3 inches to long in the back and about 1/2 inch too tall......scaleing those would be hell compared to the chally hood
