Stretch goes boing, then sings.

Great stuff, some day I will be doing the same job, only difference is most of the parts will be well used, (cleaned & painted) but old, new u bolts(I had to buy mine) brakes & lines is all I'm doing back there for now!
I will use this post as a guide, should be close to my setup on the b'cuda, Thanks! Rich.

I my own defense the sway bar is covered in undercoating as is, the rest of the underbody. I thought it would be a good idea to leave the undercoating on it or it would look out of place. As it turns out I wish I would have blasted it. I also thought the original brake lines would look ok, but I have changed my mind on that too. I guess it leaves something for me to do while I wait for my exhaust manifold to come back from the machine shop. I am also going to blast the lower shock hardware I just wanted to assemble it to see how it would sit. I had some concerns about the ride height because with it in the air the shocks were three inches away from the mount after we had jacked up on the diff, it started to lift the rear off of the stands.

The rear sway bar standard for a rally car or an option?
Front and rear swaybars were part of the Charger Rallye package from 1972-74, along with the bulge hood, hood pins, and white-letter tires (F70x14 in '72-'73, G70x14 in '74). There was also some year-specific stuff (louvered doors and taillamps in '72, etc).

In '73-'74, it also included the 318 which obviously could be replaced with a bigger engine.

Thanks for the pic-

About this time, our friend Paul stopped by with his '68 Hemi Chicken, with a fresh chip in the paint from (that's right) actually driving a Hemi car!

Pants were moistened.

Paul was impressed with His Royal Enlongatable's project, which was startin' to look like a car again.

Thanks for the pic. Yes, some of us actually do drive Hemi's! Thought you might have gotten a pic of the Redlines losing some rubber- my little guy thought Dad was pretty cool "doing a burnout". [smilie=b:

You were already out of sight when the tires started complaining, or I'd have gotten pictures, believe me. :D

Man, that car just sounds awesome... even with the noisy lifters. ;)

But not often enough. I didn't get a picture with that car before I left last year :(
Should have spent less time holed up in an apartment on a couch... you missed all kinds of good local color. [smilie=e: [smilie=e:

Followed the signs. Didn't take me where I needed to go. Tried the phone book, the map showed me where I had been.

Called on the cell. The moron at the number I call didn't answer :D

Actually noisy "rockers/ shafts", not lifters. Hopefully in a few weeks with some help (you available???? [smilie=b: ) the noise will be taken care of, thanx to Dick Lande's fix. Beep-beep!
