The 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack has been popular, but the 485 horsepower car has been overshadowed by the 707hp Hellcat. Aprice starting under $40k has helped the Scat Pack sell out for the 2015 model year, so even without the bulk of the media attention, the Scat Pack Challenger has still been popular.
Allpar reader Brent Gravel was one of the buyers of thebudget-friendly 485hp Scat Pack Challenger; he recently took his Mopar muscle car to the drag strip to see what it could do with some better-than-stock rear tires.
Brent’s Challenger is factory stock, except for the Nitto street tires that replaced the factory rubber. During his runs, all of the settings were in Sport mode, and traction control was on. (...) →
