Yesterday, Auto giant Stellantis and battery manufacturer LG Chem confirmed what the grapevine had revealed a few days earlier, which is that they will partner on a $5 billion project to build Canada’s first electric vehicle battery cell manufacturing plant in Windsor, Ontario.
