This isn't aimed towards Rusty Cuda, or anyone in particular, but I felt like venting:
Working in the service department of a dealership has it's ups and downs... For every nice customer who realizes it costs money to maintain a car, there are 2 total pricks who think the service advisor owes them the world, everything should be warranty, and every part for their car should be in stock.
Oh yeah, and everybody wants a service loaner. Y'know, if you're paying for a 40 buck oil change... You can wait the bloody hour. I'm not giving you a fucking service loaner, we don't have a fleet of loaners, and they only go out to large jobs and people who actually pay money for the odd maintenance item beyond an oil change.
Stay the fuck out of the shop unless I invite you in, Read your goddamn owners manual before trying to convince me your problem is covered by warranty, don't stand at the counter and talk to me about how great or shitty your car is for 3 hours ( I have lots to do and other customers to deal with), don't bitch about how we aren't open on the weekends and it interferes with your work week (Especially if you don't work weekends... fuck off, I don't want to work them either)
Suck it up and drive the compact car. Everyone thinks they're special... They're not, accept it. Be happy somebody is fixing your vehicle, and if someone goes the extra mile while doing their best to meet your expectations, desires and needs... Tell them you appreciate it.
Did I forget to sign your warranty book? too bad, it doesn't mean a damn thing anyway.
God, I'm glad I quit. People are annoying as fuck.
