SORRY...........

RUSTY Cuda

In over my head!
But I'm gonna dis a dodge! This POS is what the rental co thinks is a full size car,:wtf:, drove it 3/4 of a mile home & I was on the phone asking for a REAL car! This is supposed to be "equivelent" to my marquis that is finally being fixed after waiting over 2 months! :dgt:
the world just has to end soon, the sheer incompetance of about every person & institution I have to deal with just reeks of a major collapse in the "system" !!!!!! Rich.

Definitely not full sized.

How is it otherwise? Low power, yes (unless you go for the SRT4), but is it decent in ride and comfort, etc.?

I was just surfing the Dodge site and looking at those.

That's what happens when you design a car around a consumer focus group, rather than try to actually let engineers and designers do their jobs.

I give you the Dodge Aztek.

Make syou wonder what happens to those kids designing great looking cars.

I have a feeling the corporate culture at the big three plays it soooooo safe taht the only thing they are capable of is the automotive equivalent of Wonder Bread.

It's what makes me even more amazed that a Prowler or a Viper can exist. Although if you look at the Viper, it has been Wonder Breadized already.

Well I'm very uncomfortable in the drivers seat, No power, pretty tinny feel if ya know what I mean, just got off a rant to the ins co, to bad it was only a machine, will let em have it tomorrow am, they told the rental co they will only pay for a compact , well that ain't gonna float, I drive a full size car, while your fixing your insured damage to my car you will provide me with one thats somewhat close! Bad news is I can only get foreign stuff or a grand prix, so tomorrow it goes in for the grand prix! Rich.
I'll deal with the difference in price later! [smilie=i:

The grand Prix will be fine if you don't have someone of similar stature in the passenger seat.

As big as they look from the outside, there isn't a lot of cabin room.

Sad, but true. :(
Nobody seems to give a crap about anything anymore.

Never more apparent than at a Chrysler dealership it would seem.

I took the Charger in for an oil change today.
I felt like I was imposing on their day.... and I had a scheduled appointment.

I stopped to talk to my brother the other day, and had to ask him what the new crap wearing pentastars was. Sad I don't even really care.

looks like it's gonna be a long couple of weeks, the grand pri(x)ck had no regristration in it so the gave us a big cigar!!!!!!!!!! some optimum thingy:huh:
At least the ins co upgraded us to a full size, now all I have to do is educate the 20somethings at the rental place as to what FULL size, maybe a pic of an M1A1 will give them a hint :doubt: love this chit! :doh:Rich.

Don't worry Rich, I don't think anyone here disagrees with you on your assessment of the Farterlands (not a typo) idea of a replacement for the not-so-bad Neon. Those things are a bad Aztec knock-off, they just skidded through on a couple cute commercials.

The only new Dodge I want (besides the new Challenger) is a Ram Mega cab with the Cummins, and then I don't think the body will hold up as long as the motor, Chrysler needs to turn around and I hope this managment change puts them in the right direction...

This isn't aimed towards Rusty Cuda, or anyone in particular, but I felt like venting:

Working in the service department of a dealership has it's ups and downs... For every nice customer who realizes it costs money to maintain a car, there are 2 total pricks who think the service advisor owes them the world, everything should be warranty, and every part for their car should be in stock.

Oh yeah, and everybody wants a service loaner. Y'know, if you're paying for a 40 buck oil change... You can wait the bloody hour. I'm not giving you a fucking service loaner, we don't have a fleet of loaners, and they only go out to large jobs and people who actually pay money for the odd maintenance item beyond an oil change.

Stay the fuck out of the shop unless I invite you in, Read your goddamn owners manual before trying to convince me your problem is covered by warranty, don't stand at the counter and talk to me about how great or shitty your car is for 3 hours ( I have lots to do and other customers to deal with), don't bitch about how we aren't open on the weekends and it interferes with your work week (Especially if you don't work weekends... fuck off, I don't want to work them either)

Suck it up and drive the compact car. Everyone thinks they're special... They're not, accept it. Be happy somebody is fixing your vehicle, and if someone goes the extra mile while doing their best to meet your expectations, desires and needs... Tell them you appreciate it.

Did I forget to sign your warranty book? too bad, it doesn't mean a damn thing anyway.

God, I'm glad I quit. People are annoying as fuck.

Stop holding back Jes, tell us how you really feel...

Jester, I've been in the parts department in dealerships for over 29 years, and I wouldn't EVER want to be a service adviser. Probably the most thankless job at a dealership. (just make sure you don't blame the parts department of not having the part when the tech's first guess didn't fix the problem.):naughty::bwuhaha:

Not a service issue here, it's the ins co of the person who hit my car, they actually cleared the full size the next mourning after I called, trouble is getting one, a taillight was out on the optimum thingy, so we gots a malibue now, I haven't gotten in it yet, but wifey likes it & I may never have to drive it(should be ok, if I do have to & at least I can get my 80 year old folks into it if I have to.) I drive big cars, even my cudas bigger than these jokes, wreck my big car, pay for a big car while you fix it, simple as that!
Now as for dealers, I don't go there cept for recalls,I'm perfectly happy to be Raped locally , trying to get my recalled cat on the van, they made me wait an hour while they did a "safty check" after telling them I just want the cat! then they tell me all(inc brake????)fluids are dirty, need front brakes & maybe rotors & they have to order the cat! 1/2 day lost! it's in, drop it 8am, not ready till almost 6 pm,full day lost! Well the brake pads were needed a year later, rotors are still on & as for the dirty fluids, well I won't say it in public! :wtf: Rich.

Did they offer to put "summer air" in the tires too????:bwuhaha:

LMFAO@ jester! I feel your pain, at our shop I get to be service writer, parts guy, phone answerer, superviser, secretary, customer service, janitor, gopher and of course..mechanic. :D
