I'd even overlook the brown...
This is one of those cars I'd love to bomb around in for a long weekend. By the end of that few days, I'd be bored with it. I think the only way I'd really consider a C-barge would be either a (rare) factory 440/4-speed coupe, or a convertible of some sort. Even then, I wonder how long it would really hold my attention.
One of my high school buddies used to "borrow" his Dad's '75 Imperial (bought from one of my elementary school buddy's Dad) and beat the snot out of it. One of the funniest things a 16-17 year old budding gearhead can see is smoke rolling off the rear tires of a pristine white 4 door Imperial in front of his high school.I spent about a week in a '77 New Yorker doing a lap of NV and CA when I was young. The car was less than a decade old at the time, and in excellent condition. Yeah, it ate up the road alright but other than it physically slowing down when the AC was engaged, along with the accompanying racket from the RV-2, I don't remember it being all that remarkable in any aspect. It was just... big. As far as power goes, though I never had the chance to directly compare them back-to-back, my old man's 305-4V Delta 88 (transplanted L69 H.O.) would've whomped it in a drag race despite being what, a mid-16-second car?
I'll stick with my midsize J-body Imperial, thanks. More luxurious, stiffer chassis, better ride, and all with several square yards less footprint.

Why did he swap a 400 into a '71 Imperial?
