I'll start posting progress pics soon. Finally getting some time to work on the Oakland again. December is one hell of a busy month around here. My Boys birthday is December 16th, my daughters is December 23, then Christmas and new years, Not to mention work has been nuts for the last few months!

Holidaze.

I was contemplating its future just yesterday.

It hasn't cost me much in terms of time lately. It's been pretty much humming along (except when the hosting service craps out).

I do have replacement software that I haven't had time to test out, but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. It MIGHT bring more traffic and therefore new members, though.
But vB keeps on ticking...

Money wise, it's not much. Cheaper than going to the movie theatre twice a month ( and usually more fun) and I don't go to the movie theatre. So.... I put it under my entertainment budget. :P

I've been guilty of not posting over the last couple of years, except for projects. I do not want to see our board go away, so with the new year will come more posts. I hope everyone else will follow.

I don't want to see the place die either. In fact I'd like to see a bunch of us get together in person. The few times it has happened have been nothing but fun. It's amazing how people who only know each other through this place can get together in person and just "Gel". It's been like we have known each other for years. Those of us that have met in person have stayed in contact and made an effort to get together from time to time. There are quite a few folks on here who I'd love to meet. I'd hate to loose that opportunity because the doors to the nut house got locked and the key got tossed away!
 
69 and I have met Cow on a number of occasions. We still need to hook up with J.C. and Jester. Who else is on the wet coast?
I do miss the mid-west nuts though. Those were all good times! :D
 
I met a bunch at xl's one year.

I've run into DD2 at MOPARFest a few times.

I know restoman, of course.
 
I used to run into the sarnia tribe before, but i dont go that direction much anymore.

dcf always seems to be at moparfest.
I also met a bunch at Xls a few years back, but cant remember exactly who. Jodaddy rings a bell.
I have always wanted to take a long cruise to the Wisconsin area someday, seems like a hot spot for nutz!

I dont want to see moparnuts die off. Hopefully get some engine work posted up on here in the next few months and make the thrash for may 24 summer cruising.
 
I used to see Resto while I worked in Sarnia>That's also where I met Xl. I met DCF, DD2, Jodaddy, and some of the Eastern coast nuts that came up to a get together at XL's. I see DCF when I get to MoparFest, but haven't made it in a couple years.
 
The first one I met was 6packer in Nova Srotum and he pointed me to Scatpack. Then while on scatpack, on our way to the Mopar nats Jr & I stopped at Jodaddys and met XL, Sammich and the 340 brothers. Since then I have met Doc & Stretch, (more than once :doh:) Also met Beeper & Barney several times and last but not least was the Oven Mitt. I guess I get around. :huh:
