I was hooked on the Tron aspect!

I think this would be pretty cool, IF it were to ever happen.

These in the public parks alone would be an awesome thing. Hell, it might even get more kids playng outside, rather than playing on the 21st century "idiot box" all day. I do wonder about the downside of the road aspect though.

i can see parkinglots parks sidewalks...but beyond that all i see is a bloody nightmare full of problems

how many roads do you know of that are "smooth"...hell even sidewalks..how often do you see one lift or fall..same goes for teh road

dont get me wrong its a BRILIANT idea on a magnatude of levels...just even the best roads in the world move and shift cause tahts what the world does

My thoughts on the biggest down fall is how much rare earth metals, and basic raw materials would you need to strip mine from the planet so you could have you nice fancy "Earth friendly" , "Green" roads. :doubt: Third world countries get driven into the ground...literally...to supply the raw materials to meet the tech demands of the well to do country. Really in the end is the planet any better off....:huh:


A favorite bumper sticker of mine is....."Earth First...we'll strip mine the other planets later."

my understanding was that the vast majority of it is made from garbage......made in mondatna or idaho..i forget
