I just happen to live 50 miles from my car.

WTF!?!? I used to COMMUTE that far everyday (one way) What time do you have to be at work?? Have you got a reliable beater car yet, to make the drive in?? Maybe it takes hours to drive 50 miles up there??

Oh wait, you still can't drive (legally) right?? Crap... ( <-- edit)

If I lived that close to my projects, Id be happy...

If I lived that close to my project it'd be DONE by now! :D
I think you would be happy being on the same continent...:bwuhaha:

I worked this past Saturday, and have to work today. So, I had the 2nd and the 4th off, but couldn't manage two days in a row off to get home and do something constructive on the beast. Frustrating, especially since it's so close. Damned license.

Plus, I have to work again this Saturday--though I actually did volunteer, since I haven't been at my job long enough (by three days  ) to get paid for the 4th, so Sat. at least gets me 40 hours on the ol' paycheck.

Getting one piece at a time is always good just keep pluging away, any idea if you will be able to comute 50 miles is a piece of cake.

Well, I'm still a couple years away from worrying about a commute... no license until, realistically, very-near 2009. My appeal date for my license is late September 2008, after which I'll have to go through the court system (right to a speedy trial my arse). Should that happen, I'd likely commute from my house in Kingsford; 50 miles is a cakewalk.

I picked up upper ball joints for the LeBaron yesterday; I now have all the tie rods and ball joints. I also put my order in for the pricey torsion-bar insulators because there were only two left in the warehouse system and I don't want them to vanish before I determine whether I need them (not that they're big movers :D). They'll just sit on the shelf at work until I can look at mine and determine whether I need them.

I still need pitman/idler arms, control-arm bushings, swaybar mounts and links, then calipers, pads, rotors and brake hoses.

The final big hit: solid K-member mounts.

I don't have the dimensions, or I'd have 'em made locally. :D $165 seems a bit expensive for something so easy to make.

I bought a set of the MP iron ones new for a 440/4-speed Aspen project that never came together, but they went down the road years ago.

Ok, let me know if I can help. I'll be back in a machine shop around January.:giggedy:
