When I haven't been working on my dart, I've been helping a little with these projects. Cool thing is, both of the kids are 21 so it's nice to see some young blood taking interest in the mopar hobby.

First pics are of the 73 Dart that we put a 383 into

Second is an 85 ram that we will be putting a 318 mag engine in this fall

Souldn't that Dart say "B-Bomb" or "RB-Bomb" on the stripe instead of "A-Bomb"?:D

:naughty: "B" yes..."RB" no....a 383 is a B block...except in 59 & 60, the RB's were 413, 426 & 440's.

I missed that part about it being a 383. In that case then yes of course I would have only said "B-Bomb". But, since I wasn't sure, I just put both versions out there...

Just going by my user name, I sure hope I know the difference between a B and a RB block.:D

I see the A-Body has two engine fire starter kits on it.

Yeah the air cleaners. That foam gets soaked with gas fumes. One backfire and you have a situation on your hands.

While we're on the subject, anyone who has one of those glass-encased "inspectable" fuel filters should be rid of that as well. Those things have caused more engine fires than probably anything else ever made.

Uh-oh.

those triangle POS things..i had one for a while and loved it..till my 472 caddy sucked it thru the big holley and proceded to suck in the underhood insulation

as for the glass fuel filters..ive only ever had 1 leak and that was cause i cracked it..all in all theyve been good to me ..perhaps its how/where i locate them or how stiff the lines are on the ends

I like the triangular shape, but I've seen too many negative incidents with those bug-eye filters to ever run one... hence the reason I chose the ones shown below.
