Should or should not

I'm going to build another SB stroker, with more oats, in the future. That's a given. I now have access to a set of W5 heads already CNC ported. They are expensive. Should I buy? Or stay with what I have. Only interrested in running above the 9.99 sec index in street trim.:wtf:

Uh XL. I can't concentrate on anything you post right now. And I'm getting dizzy.:wtf:

I remember what an old machinist once told me when I was doing my first V-8 when I was about 15. If you wanna play, you gotta pay.

Combination will change for the next engine K. Looking at an R block or, at the least, one of the 4 bolt repro's. Have to up to a decent roller cam too, to get the benefits of those heads, I suppose. :wtf:

How fast are you planning on going? I am sure I will eventually be on lining up against that beast. I don't want to be too embarrassed

No need for embarrasment K. We're all just trying to go fast.:) As for et. I'm shooting for 10.0's But capable of high 9's. Got a couple bowties waiting to gun me down. Even a BB Mopar guy that say's sb's are a waste.:bwuhaha:

So How did the W2 combo perform ? Any track reports ? Just curious.....

Haven't even fired it, yet, FF. I'm just looking ahead to the next engine. Me, and a couple friends usually work it that way. Usually cheaper since we wait for the deals. W2 engine won't be tested 'till spring. Should have it lit by Jan. ............. I hope.:o

Think I made the deal. A set coming in any time. All ported. Car was seen going mid to low 10's.

Sounds like me, lol ! I'm planning a stroker build and haven't even assembled the car with the E-headed 446, allthough it was broken in and has some dyno time on it. From what i remember of the W2 build, it seemed pretty stout !

Congrats on your latest purchase....post some flow #'s if ya get a chance. I'd be interested to see what a full boogie W5 looks like, flow wise.
