I had a '75 Malibu that didn't have a keyed glove box lock.
I bought a Monte for parts that had swivel seats, console, and tilt column, and when I swapped all the parts over, I found I couldn't get the glove box knob out of the Malibu to swap it over.

It was a mopar door in this video, then I just have to buy the one, instead of the set of 3 for the new keys?

Mann I really wanted to do something outside today, with the car down to the jack stands not much I can do, wasted a nice day, at least I got that other mirror done.
No blistering seem to be having better luck if I shoot everything the same day, just waiting for flash times?
Running out of things I want to do in the garage, I may finally have to start rebuilding the heater box, got the parts quite a while back ugh!

The first order of business was to dig out the heater box & clean off the bench!

Removed one more plastic section to remove the foam & clean up a bit
Got that & the one rubber seal that doesn't come in the kit cleaned up...........
Hope I'm getting this foam on in the right places the instructions are vague ?
When I put the foam on the heater core I noticed whatever goop they sealed around the core was dried up & cracked (some gone) I put a bead of trunk seal adhesive on it?
Have a couple of leftovers I haven't figured out where to put, will be rereading the instructions tonight!

Found the last 2 spots, didn't show them at all in the instructions but at least mentioned where they go in the parts list.

& this edge, I don't know what it goes up against but I think I have it right?
Another odd one said wrap it around the small tube, but both tubes are soldered to the opposite brackets, so I just put it on the open side & cut off the excess?
Almost forgot to put the heater core in had to peel back that side, stick it in & re-glue the gasket!
Went back together pretty good..............
Just one section cracked up on me as I was trying to squeeze it together for the clips, blobbed some JB weld over it.
Found the reason the rubber was deformed on the back left...........
Box is way off back there I hope I still get a seal?
Last seals & foams around the screws I'll wait till install they go up against the fire wall
Now I Have to get some vacuum hose to replace the mouse eaten ones (in photo of whole box) & test the actuators, I have a vacuum pump from my A/C days, not sure how many inches of vac the car provides?
It will get me close to 30" (full vac. would that damage the actuators if it's too much?

He countered at 46 on the lock, I just went ahead & ordered, what am I wasting time for another buck or 2?

After I wrapped those up I dug out the interior panels for a bath, these are gonna take a lot of work to make something decent out of them. 
After I saw that just fantastic was taking off some paint I went to a bath in thinner & it takes a while but the nasty blue is coming off..............
Buy stock in paper towels a roll & a half already, seems once they get fill of paint they just move it around!
I'll be scrubbing on these for days, bought a gallon of hi build primer to see if I can save them!

Mirror came out pretty good you really have to angle the glass to see what didn't get any paint in the back..........

A low-budget A-body is probably your best bet but I'm skeptical the mechanism would work.

Well I think I have my project for the rest of the winter, the interior panels.
So 2 days of scrubbing & the doors look totally different from each other?
Some of the panels have this nasty lookin greenish stuff on them , this panel was the worst.
some how underneath that the panel actually looks ok?
So the goal is to have them ready for prime when April hits, if I survive that long!
Bigger wire brushes have been dug out & are ready for the next round!
