Test 'n tune last night. Easy passes. Best yet of 10.87@124MPH. Still more in the tank. Now the tunning begins:doh:...........

Bro, ya shoulda put some music on that video. my suggestion would be "all ready gone" by the eagles.:gaga:
 
The strut which holds the low/reverse band was bent, and the band was always touching the drum, not giving us much stall. So the car was basically muscling itself off the launch, not getting to use the stall.:wtf: We think it was done with the original setup. We're also adding some goodies to the trans:shifty:, and no, it's not a transbrake:naughty:. They're way to hard on parts for my taste. We've got a 2.77/1.55 gearset coming. I think the originals are 2.45/something, I think. Go hard for the 1/8th, and still give us the topend. Sounded like the best of both worlds............. to me

Well. We're getting stall now. 60 foot has improved to 1.58. Not great but that was with some tire slipage, and no chassis tunning. We're looking at next weekend. Steeper gears are being assembled in a new spool, but that won't be till next year, so the lower ets are going to wait. Finish the season out with what we've got...............:doh:
 
T&T Fri. night. No decent clips. Car ran somewhat quicker at 10.81&125MPH. Was hooking but did feel some wheelspin[smilie=d:(I think). The steeper gears should help it as I did monitor the R's going thru the traps at a low 6200. Could have sworn I felt the front suspension bounce after the 60 ft........................ dare I say.......... lifting the fronts?:wtf: Damn that camera.....[smilie=l:
