Referrals for painting

Raodrunners Rock!
Well, the time has come.

I am thinking about hauling Grimace in for a paint job. Like before, I am thinking Sassy Grass (might look cool with the white guts). Maybe a poll shall be started--I'd like to hear from the nuts on this one. Not too many '71 B-Bodies out there, so I might as well make it stick out a little I feel.

Does anyone know a good autobody/painter in Edmonton or surrounding area? The body is pretty straight. Hood needs some banging, and the rear quarters have a bit of bondo on the lower lips, but my magnet sticks everywhere. :toot: I am looking for a good person, at a reasonable cost. Does nopt have to be the cheapest, just a guy that won't steer me wrong. So far, I had one estimate for 6 grand.

The hood has several small holes from the previous owner too. He decided to bolt on a scoop for some reason.

Anyways, can somebody give me a fair price--or what to look for--questions to ask? I want a decent paint job, not a chip foose special or something. I am willing to answer all questions you need in order give me fair adivce here.

Any other tips? Some things I just can't do myself. This is one job I would rather leave for a professional--although there is a do-it-yourself garage I can use if I felt like it here--a pretty cool business idea. Unique as far as I know.[smilie=::

Your advice is always appreciated.

BTW, I put on a Grant mohogany steering wheel this weekend. Looks pretty farking sweet if I may say so.

Cheers,

V.

PS: If you could specify CAD or USD, I would appreciate it greatly.
