It is not as sexy as the 900 pound-feet of torque of the 2016 Cummins diesel, not as headline-grabbing as the class-leading 29 mpg of the Ram 1500 diesel, and not ascontroversial and visible as the new Laramie Limited and Rebel grilles.
Still, the center console is something owners will interact with every day, and is one of those little things thatdifferentiates trucks’ convenience.
We were sent the following photo of one of the revised consoles. It’s clearly different from the one in the 2016 Laramie Limited, above, and was, it seems, created to accommodate today’s pocket gizmos. We believe this will be the base setup.
