Ram dealers delivered 1,942 ProMaster Citys last month, a record for the compact van, after sales skyrocketed 158% overthe prior month— jumping215% overthe January-October average monthly sales.
The ProMaster City evenbeat the best-ever sales months for the Nissan NV200 and its GM clone, the Chevrolet City Express. In November, the ProMaster City came within 84 units of equalling the combined sales of the two competitors (albeit far lower than the Ford Transit Connect).
That large a spike often signals a single large purchase, especially for a fleet vehicle.
