By no means is it ready to roll, but it's an E-body and it's almost all there. Fairly solid, too, for what it is. Based on the metallic orange and obvious flare remnants, I'd guess it did some freak time in the '70s. I can't believe the cluster is still in it, and seemingly nice.

It's originally an E7 Burnished Red (dark metallic, visible remnants on some of the undercar shots), black top/interior, stripe-delete Rallye:

You'd still be upside down when you finished it but at least you'd be less upside down at that price (y)
I suppose if one can't do any of the work oneself, they might land tits-up. It's not easy with an E-body, though. If the end ever comes, I'll be right around the $30K mark on mine.

I picked up a 72-74 Challenger many years ago in E7, 318 car but no motor or tranny...think I paid $300 for it as a roller. Parted it out and made a decent amount of money off of it but the best keeper part was the 3.91 Suregrip!

You can see the rear quarter in this pic...

And the car here as well...

back in 91? we picked up a CLEAN 73? from all american classics, even drove the car home for 1200, rootbeer goldish exterior black n white 2 tone gut, they even threw in an RT hood at that price had a nice vyble top on it too..funny thing my head cant remember if the top was black or white....

repainted the car AMC pink metalic, and i tell you what that car was a head turner...and that color was gourgious on the chally body....had a serious love hate relationship with that car,,,it was big, underpowered and just not quite right....yes it was a stone stock 318 console auto..low miles at that..i think around 30k on it power windowsm door locks CC and ac..she was LOADED....but you have to remember that at the same time i had my 69 1/2 built, my mostly stone stock 67 fastback with a 273 that could run circles around it, then there was my 71 caddy coupe i had as well..to which..could out cruise and thrash it with that big bad 472 pre smog monster....so the poor chally just felt wofully unfitting it was big not as comfy as my as or my caddy and didnt have enough grunt to compete with either...it was nice to sit in for a short time but comparably not fun to drive nor long drive comfy other than for the attention whoring it could do it just felt pointless....the same could easily have been said for the 74 340cuda ...it felt like a bigger pig than the chally for some reason...and i still hate the "cuda" lines over the chally

sadly this was all before digital camera and i "think" i have maybe 1 or 2 pics total of the car..burried in an album somewhere.....traded it for a new wheelchair for mom just before the prices on the E's went BONKERS.....i dont miss the car but id love to know what happend to it

this color

I owned one Chally and hated that car every time I slammed the door. And I've had no desire to own an E body since
