I got drunk and swallowed my teeth, now
This car was built by a long time friend. He originally bought it for $100 as a shell back in '57. Within in a short time he had it driving and used it for daily use for about a year. Then he decided to gussy it up for show circuits. By 1962 it was awarded national champion street roadster. Every part on it was either hand-built by him or scarffed from another car and modified to fit. It's a 1933 Ford Cabriolet with a '51 vintage 331 Hemi, running hand-built manifold with 4 Stromberg 97's. It's adapted to a 39 Ford truck trans. The headers, coil spring front suspension were all hand made by him, even the interior. On the show circuit back in the 60's the car was named Li'l Dough. He had a stroke a year ago and no longer has use of his right arm. So driving this is no more.
