I think it sucks that goodys car got fugged up... and if he has friends here who would donate parts to get him back on the road... thats GREAT!!!! im sure if he had the oppurtunity and available parts to help someone else out who had a mishap that he would help that person out as well... It's not right to down the guy for calling on his friends and fellow mopar lovers for some much needed help... but, hey maybe im the asshole for thinking that way... who knows? Wow! Quite a thread. Thanks to everyone for sticking up for me, Silver is still doing the same old shit. When he got booted the last of his many times, pathetically he came back under a Alias name, that stupid enough, was the same name as his registered email address under his name 'silver' and i caught him on it. So he got the perma-ban from Moparts, and is going around on Scat-Pack and such saying he told moparts he was done. lol. Because he couldn't keep away, and he got caught. Devil feels that I never pay for anything on my car and I write checks for everything done...or rather 'my parents do'. Truth is, my parents hate me modifying and racing my car and for damn sure wouldnt put money in it to help me do it! The ONLY part I have actually taken without fighting was a local guy offered me a free 318 with the heads and intake that are on my motor. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING (which really isn't that much...Ryan just feels that since I got a couple parts a year or two ago that I'm just walking around with my hands out) has not been taken without me trying to pay for it. Ask any of the guys who have given me stuff Ryan, because since you know so much about me based on the internet...you must know how I handle things and have a list of every 'thank you' thread I have posted.
There are a handful of guys I dont give two-shits about what they think. They have their set ways, based on nothing but stuff they have turned around and they post just stirring things up and badmouthing. As far as the 'wrecked Cuda' thread goes being on a few different boards isn't the fact I'm looking for parts. It's that not everyone that I know, or that should know what happens goes on moparts. Guys from Cuda-Challenger, ForAbodiesOnly or what have you that know me, that dont regularly go on moparts...would like to know I'm sure. Which is why it was posted in various places. Not looking for handouts.
The only free parts I have recieved from this wreck, and that I will take unless someone insists on not taking money for something, was the upper and lower control arms off my dads Challenger that Mr. Foose figured he didn't need anymore. (put two things together and you'll know what I'm talking about)
Few guys seem to try and razz me for 'lying about what happened' because I really do not know what failed for sure. I hit the pedal, car didnt stop and i got hit...however they feel like looking at it and getting their little detective kit out is fine with me. It will all be replaced without question and will be 110% when the car hits the road again. I drove my car for almost two years daily, and driven hard and my only issue was the brakes failing leaving a parking lot. Though not 'fast' the 318 can hold its own and with 3,500stall and 3.91s it can get in some trouble and the car was never hurt from being wreckless behind the wheel. And I've owned 4 cars by now, 302 69 mustang, high 12 87 5.0 mustang, my cuda and my 360 71 Dart and No Tickets. And No Accidents based upon wreckless driving. If i was doing something stupid, I'd own up to it. I wouldn't blame the brakes on it leaving the parking lot of my job. Wrapped around a pole, that'd be a different story.
Thanks again all those that have stood behind me. I do ALL the wreching on my car, I do have questions have needed a hand on things I've never done. But not everyone can know everything about stuff they have never done. I do NOT go around with my hands out expecting FREE parts. If i say I'll be looking for a fender, that doesn't mean a FREE, EBODY fender. Thats just what they twist it up as. I wouldn't mind however, a decent lead to a fender that I can BUY off someone. And NOBODY gives me money for my car (as in my parents devil/silver). You guys do not know me, my parents, or my financial status, so stop saying things and bending the truth about who pays for what on my car.

Most of us here know you to be the type of person you've just described yourself as. That's how you've always presented yourself through your behavior.

I've given parts to people for free before and received stuff for free as well. If people want to give him parts that have been in their garage for 20 years that they have no use for anymore,let them.Goody's had a lot of support from people older/wiser over the years and I thought that's what this hobby is all about!If I had anything that'd help him out, I would.I don't, so I'll just wish him the best of luck! Maybe it would've,maybe not.The foot e-brakes are a heckuva lot harder to hit in a panic situation than a hand brake IMO.Devil, let's just agree to wish him luck getting the car fixed,OK? How he does it,who helps him out doesn't really matter in the end,does it?He's done more to his car in the last year,than I have to mine in the last 5!For that, he gets a thumbs up from me.

Well... it sounds to me like there are a couple guys on Nuts that are hiding their seemingly obvious HOMOSEXUALITY... they mask it with insults and downing a good kid like GOODY... They need to find the door so they can make their way out of the "closet" and jump into reality... This seems to be an unneeded and ill timed attack on a true mopar LOVER...
