Rob - that would look just soooo sweet 'twixt the inner fenders of a triple black 1968 Charger

Any color would look good in a triple black 68...:gaga:

I might just change the valve covers on this one and drive it for another summer...
Turquoise I find a tad boring...not my fav color...

With the cast valve covers on it ...it will look better than mine with the stock covers on it...

This engine looks sweet but imo it would look even hotter with the intake painted too :giggedy:

I was going to put that indy 2D intake on it and paint the whole thing for the appraisal but it never got here in time...
so now I'm going to fit the 3X and a dominator on it and pick up the 20 hp and 30 plus lb ft of tq I gave up...

nothing like the look of a tealish block with some lightly polished or clearcoated aluminum on it with black accents

as for pulleys ive always been partial to a DUAL belt alt setup

After being reminded of how good aluminum heads look bare on a painted block, I think a red block with bare aluminum heads would look good with any body colour and any engine size. Or if you're going green, a green block with bare heads and intake would look sharp too.

illl NEVER run aluminum bare again...its gotta have a coat of something or it goes all ugly in a few years...preferably a good clear of some kind....powder?

Rob, the VC's are from 440source....$149.00 usd  I don't have them yet....just ordered a few days ago. A member over at Moparts got his and said they were nice quality.

I wish i had more pics of the bullet internals but it's really nuthin fancy ;) .... OEM steel crank, ly's w/ARP hardware, 6-pack slugs. All the good stuff is in the top end....Ported E-heads, harland sharp rockers etc...
