PoCo Show 2015

Drowning deep in my sea of loathing...so I'm
Spent the day at a local car show. I generally do not stay at shows for more then a couple hours, but I had not been to this show before...but my friends had. They told me it was a great show, per-registering got you a free Pancake, eggs, bacon and sausage breakfast with coffee and OJ, plus a bunch of free shwag. So there was a group of us who per-registered and spent the day sitting under a shade tree just shooting the $hit.

So now to the pics....Enjoy.

pinto wagon drag car....BBC..asking $20K

1956 Dodge Crown royal....

Appears to be an original BC car...

Nice Z....love the inline six with a little huffer on it...

This is one of the guys I went with...his Dad bought this new off the lot.

42 Dodge...

They had a display of TV cars....kinda cool!

And a bullet Charger...had a 6 speed in it!

55 Chev truck...loved this one! The color scheme and the rims especially! Think those are early 30's Artillery centers, re-mounted on newer rims? Regardless i loved the look!

Burts car...

1969 Charger RT...real deal car in R4 red...

75 Duster, /6 car...

Early A-body..66?

71 Demon...EV2 car, 340/4spd. Not a fan of people who clutter up their vehicles with brochures, and the like....detracts from the car IMO.

46 Fargo

70 AAR...real car, had a T3(?) tan interior. Don't see that too often!

68 GTS Dart...340 car.

70 Runner...

Another old dodge truck....

87 Rover I believe? This thing was ready for anything!

72 Chally with a 440....

71 bee....car is a clone. Originally a 383/2bbl car in EL5 and a black interior.

Loving this Ford pick up!

Bit of a Rat truck...but fairly well done.

This had to be the nicest paint at the show!

34 Airflow. Think this is the first time I had seen one in person. The car looked as if it has been in storage, and was barely dusted off to come to the show.

International pick up...

57 Willy pick up...local Blasting company truck that was found and restored. Very neat!

I liked this 'Yota!

Maxi car...Was asking $38K. No idea is it is a real deal, or clone?

Really liked the plain jane, sleeper look of this Valiant!

60 Saratoga...

69 Bee...never looked to see if it was a real bee, but clearly the color is wrong.

Loved this Swinger...

Another early A-body...

Beauty of a 56 ford wagon...There was only two other wagons at the show, mine, and a 58 Belair wagon.

Rambler 'vert...usually I don't like the full chrome rims...but they seemed to work on this car.

Plymouth 'Vert....

And I loved this 79 wagoneer 2dr, Dad had one just like it! Only had 30K original KM's. Think he was asking $10K

Well that is it Ladies and Gentlemen...hope you enjoyed it. ;)

Nice stuff.

I toss brochures in the back seat of my car at shows. Mostly because the black dye on the rear seat is starting to lift and look terrible.

id love a better look at the morgan next to the jeep ..and the 60s black chev van that looks like it might be 4x

some cool stuff..and some stuff i KNOW ive seen on the island

They painted an EL5 Charger green? Blech! A4 or Citron Yella are the only colors that rate higher!

Olds is sweet! And I'm loving that red Valiant!!!

Hey, 71... there's a Citron Yella U-code '71 SE for sale in your home state. I'm not sure who exactly orders an SE in that outrageous hue, but it's the real deal. It's gotta be rare just based on color, never mind that it's a 1-of-616 440 Magnum/auto car. The asking price is a bit high, but that's why they call 'em "dealers". :D

They painted an EL5 Charger green?!

Yes..... It's the owner's car to do what they want with.. Babyshit brown/yellow is not an appealing colour no matter how you look at it. Mind you the green isn't all that much better in my opinion, but it's his money that paid for the paint, and if it makes him happy, more power to him.
